What we do with the details you give us on this website, in plain English.
Last updated 3 November 2026.
In short
- We’re OneWeek Marketing, a trading style of Bare Design Studio Limited.
- We only collect what you type into our two forms, early access and book a call, plus a few details that help us stop spam.
- We use them to message you when we open for your trade and area (because you asked us to), or to call you at the time you picked.
- Flywheel hosts this website and Resend sends our emails. We never sell your details.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking.
- We delete your details after 24 months, or sooner if you ask.
- Reply STOP to stop our messages, or email hello@oneweek.marketing to ask what we hold.
Who we are
OneWeek Marketing is a trading style of Bare Design Studio Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 10395852. Registered office: Bank Gallery, High Street, Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 1LY. We decide how your details are used, which makes us the “controller”. You can reach us at hello@oneweek.marketing.
We’ve applied to register with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and we’ll add our registration number here as soon as we have it.
This notice covers this website, oneweek.marketing. Before OneWeek’s app opens to clients, we’ll add what we hold about clients and who helps us run it. If you’re a business using OneWeek, our data processing terms explain how we handle your customers’ details.
What we collect
When you sign up for early access
Your name, mobile number, postcode and trade (and what you typed if you picked “something else”). If you choose to give them: your business name, your email address and the things you ticked as helpful.
We also record:
- when you signed up, the consent wording you agreed to, its version and the time you gave it
- how you found us: the page you landed on, the website that sent you and any campaign tags in the link
- the area and region we work out from your postcode, and whether your number is a mobile or a landline (so we know if it can take a text)
- whether we’ve contacted you, whether you’ve opted out, and whether you’ve become a client
- to stop spam: a scrambled, one-way code made from your internet address (never the address itself) and the first part of your browser’s description
When you book a 15-minute call
Your first name, mobile number, the day and time you picked and, if you tell us, what it’s about.
We also record the page you booked from and any campaign tags in the link (including an advertising click reference, if the link has one). To stop spam and repeat sending, we keep a scrambled code made from your internet (IP) address for an hour; we don’t store the address with your booking.
Anything else
If your browser doesn’t run JavaScript, what you typed is held on our server for up to 30 minutes so the next page can show it back to you, then it’s cleared automatically.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Our cookies page explains more.
Why we use it, and our legal reasons
Early access
- To tell you when OneWeek opens for your trade and area, by WhatsApp or text, and by email if you gave one, and to send a one-off email confirming you’re on the list if you gave an email. Our legal reason: your consent. You can withdraw it any time by replying STOP.
- To count which trades and parts of the UK want OneWeek, so we know where to open next. We only look at totals for this; our daily summary email shows counts, not names. Our legal reason: our legitimate interest in planning the business.
Book a call
- To text you to confirm the time, then ring you when you picked and talk about OneWeek. Our legal reason: you asked us to, so we’re taking steps at your request before any agreement, and it’s in our legitimate interest to answer people who ask us to call.
- Booking a call doesn’t add you to the early-access list or to any marketing.
Both forms
- To keep the forms free of spam and abuse, using the scrambled code, the browser description and the internet address. Our legal reason: our legitimate interest in keeping the website working and safe.
We don’t sell your details, we don’t use them for anything else, and we won’t add you to other mailing lists. We don’t make automated decisions about you.
Who handles it for us
Two companies process your details for this website, under contracts that require them to keep them safe and use them only for us:
- Flywheel (part of WP Engine) hosts this website and its database, where both forms are saved.
- Resend sends our emails: the alert we get when you sign up or book a call, our daily early-access summary (totals only), and your confirmation email if you gave one.
When we message you about opening near you, a WhatsApp is carried by WhatsApp (Meta) and a text by our phone provider, Twilio, who handle your number to deliver it.
Our team at Bare Design Studio sees the early-access list and booked calls so we can contact you. Nobody else gets your details. We’d only share them if the law required it, for example a court order.
Where it’s stored
Your details are stored on Flywheel’s servers, which may be outside the UK. Resend is a US company, so emails may pass through its systems outside the UK too. Where your details leave the UK, we rely on the UK–US data bridge, which Resend is certified to, and the ICO’s international data transfer addendum, which both companies’ data protection terms include.
How long we keep it
- Early access: we delete your details 24 months after you sign up if you haven’t become a client, or sooner if you ask. When our app opens, the list moves into it under the same rules and the same time limit.
- If you reply STOP: we stop messaging you straight away and keep only what we need to make sure we don’t contact you again.
- Booked calls: deleted automatically, internet address included, 24 months after you send them.
- Spam checks: the short-lived counters that stop repeat sending clear themselves within an hour.
Copies of our alert emails are cleared from our inbox on the same timetable, and Resend keeps its own delivery logs for a short time on its own terms.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the details we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your details
- stop using them for something you object to, such as counting sign-ups or spam checks
- limit how we use them, or send them to you or another company in a common format
You can withdraw your consent to early-access messages at any time by replying STOP or emailing us. It doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Just email hello@oneweek.marketing. It’s free, and we’ll reply within a month. We may need to check it’s you before we hand anything over.
Complaints
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change what we collect or why, we’ll update this page and the date at the top first. If a change affects what you agreed to, we’ll ask you again before it applies.
